The Department for Global Health at the University of Melbourne's School of Public Health advances global health research, education and practice to strengthen health systems and improve health equity.
The Department of Global Health is a newly established academic department within the Melbourne School of Public Health and is home to the Nossal Institute. We bring together research, education and global health practice to address complex health challenges and improve health outcomes across diverse
communities and settings.
Our work focuses on strengthening health systems, advancing health equity and inclusion, and translating evidence into policy and practice. Through multidisciplinary research and collaboration with communities, governments and other partners, we aim to support more equitable, sustainable, resilient
and people-centred health systems, particularly across Asia and the Pacific.
